At Greener Ethiopia, we believe those who serve communities teachers, health workers, religious and community leaders play a pivotal role in shaping knowledge, values, and sustainable development. Our “Serving the Service Providers” program supports and empowers these change-makers.
What We Do
Provide access to educational resources for rural teachers including libraries, digital learning materials, and environmental education content.
Supply digital tools and internet access to health workers enabling them to improve care, stay connected to updated health information, and better serve remote communities.
Offer materials and guidance to religious leaders and community elders to integrate environmental stewardship into spiritual and cultural teachings promoting respect for nature and conservation ethics.
Facilitate training and capacity building for service providers to enhance their ability to deliver education, health, and community outreach, especially around sustainability, health, and environmental issues.
Support establishment of community hubs (libraries, resource centers, digital centers) that serve as knowledge and empowerment nodes in rural areas.
