Greener Ethiopia is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cooperative Bank of Oromia (Coop Bank) to strengthen collaboration in environmental sustainability, community development, and climate resilience initiatives across Ethiopia.
The partnership aims to implement joint programs focused on ecosystem restoration, nationwide tree planting campaigns, environmental awareness, climate action, and community empowerment. Through these initiatives, the two organizations seek to support environmental conservation while encouraging communities to actively participate in protecting and restoring natural resources.
The collaboration will bring together the expertise, networks, and resources of Greener Ethiopia and Cooperative Bank of Oromia to support practical and impactful environmental initiatives. It will also encourage greater private-sector participation in environmental conservation, climate action, and sustainable development.
Through community engagement and awareness activities, the partnership aims to promote sustainable environmental practices and strengthen local capacity to respond to climate and environmental challenges. These efforts will contribute to healthier communities, restored ecosystems, and a more resilient environment.
