Greener Ethiopia is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Werabe University to strengthen collaboration in research, education, environmental conservation, sustainability, and community development.

The partnership will provide a framework for joint initiatives focused on ecosystem restoration, climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, environmental awareness, and innovative approaches to addressing environmental challenges.

Through the agreement, Greener Ethiopia and Werabe University will explore opportunities to conduct joint research projects, organize knowledge exchange and capacity-building programs, and implement community outreach initiatives. The collaboration will encourage researchers, academic staff, students, and practitioners to work together in identifying practical and locally appropriate solutions to environmental and development challenges.

The partnership will also provide opportunities for students and researchers to gain practical experience through internships, field research, environmental projects, and community-based activities. Such experiences will help strengthen the connection between academic learning and practical environmental action.

Greener Ethiopia values the contribution of Werabe University to higher education, research, and community development and looks forward to a productive and long-term partnership. Together, the institutions aim to promote innovation, strengthen environmental knowledge, and support sustainable development efforts that benefit communities and future generations.

This collaboration represents a shared commitment to building a more environmentally responsible and sustainable future through education, research, innovation, and community engagement.
