Greener Ethiopia is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Welkite Agricultural Research Center to strengthen collaboration in agricultural research, environmental conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable community development.

The partnership establishes a framework for cooperation in areas including sustainable agriculture, ecosystem restoration, soil and water conservation, climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, and the development of environmentally sustainable agricultural practices.

Through the collaboration, both institutions will work together to facilitate research projects, field studies, knowledge exchange, capacity-building activities, agricultural demonstrations, and community outreach initiatives. The partnership aims to promote evidence-based approaches that can help farmers and communities respond to environmental and agricultural challenges while improving sustainable production.

The agreement will also create opportunities for researchers, students, agricultural professionals, and community members to participate in practical field research, demonstration projects, training activities, and community-based initiatives. These opportunities will support the exchange of knowledge and encourage the development and application of innovative solutions.

Greener Ethiopia recognizes the important role of Welkite Agricultural Research Center in generating agricultural knowledge and supporting research-based solutions for sustainable development. The organization looks forward to building a strong and productive partnership that connects environmental conservation with agricultural research and community livelihoods.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture, strengthening climate resilience, protecting natural resources, and advancing research-based solutions that contribute to the long-term environmental and economic well-being of communities across Ethiopia.
