Greener Ethiopia is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wolaita Sodo Agricultural College to strengthen collaboration in sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, climate resilience, research, and community development.
The partnership will focus on areas including sustainable agricultural practices, soil and water conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, environmental education, and community-based natural resource management.
Through this collaboration, both institutions will work together to facilitate practical research, knowledge exchange, capacity-building activities, agricultural demonstrations, environmental awareness programs, and community outreach initiatives. These activities will help promote agricultural practices that improve productivity while protecting natural resources and strengthening the resilience of farming communities.
The agreement will also create opportunities for students, instructors, researchers, and community members to participate in field research, practical learning, internships, demonstration projects, and community-based environmental activities. Such initiatives will help connect agricultural education with the environmental and livelihood challenges faced by local communities.
Greener Ethiopia recognizes the important role of Wolaita Sodo Agricultural College in developing agricultural knowledge, skills, and practical solutions. The organization looks forward to working closely with the college to promote sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and resilient livelihoods.
This partnership represents a shared commitment to strengthening sustainable agricultural practices, empowering future agricultural professionals, protecting natural resources, and contributing to long-term food security and sustainable development in Ethiopia.
