Greener Ethiopia is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wolaita Sodo Polytechnic College to strengthen collaboration in technical education, environmental sustainability, innovation, skills development, and community-based initiatives.

The partnership will focus on creating opportunities for joint activities in areas such as environmental technologies, sustainable practices, green skills development, ecosystem restoration, waste management, renewable and appropriate technologies, and environmental awareness.

Through the collaboration, both institutions will work together to promote practical training, knowledge exchange, capacity-building activities, and community outreach programs. The partnership aims to connect technical and vocational skills with real-world environmental challenges and encourage students to develop practical solutions that can contribute to sustainable development.

The agreement will also create opportunities for students and instructors to participate in practical environmental projects, field activities, internships, demonstrations, and community-based initiatives. These experiences will help strengthen technical skills while encouraging innovation and environmental responsibility among young people.

Greener Ethiopia recognizes the important role of Wolaita Sodo Polytechnic College in developing practical skills and preparing young people for the workforce. The organization looks forward to building a productive partnership that promotes green skills, technical innovation, and sustainable community development.

This collaboration represents a shared commitment to empowering young people with knowledge and practical skills while supporting environmentally sustainable solutions that can contribute to Ethiopia’s long-term development.
